After many years on the metal circuit, he made his transition from the stage and the dance floor to the decks in 2017, aiming to share his love for the old-school underground sounds of trance, tech trance, psy, hard trance, acid, progressive, and techno with a newer generation. Building a reputation as a champion of hard-edged sounds, Hotze has been seen supporting acts such as Scot Project, Indecent Noise, Signum, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Craig Connelly, Bryan Kearney, Freedom Fighters, Alex Di Stefano, Roger Shah, Arctic Moon and more-- along with an ever growing resume of local, regional, and out-of-state festival lineup placements. His DI.FM radio show, Dichotomy Sessions, as well as live sets reflect his roots as a veteran of the underground.
